Looks like cross game voice chat on the PlayStation 3 has been confirmed. A Naughty Dog developer going by the name "ReklissAbandon" accidentally confirmed the feature on the official PlayStation message boards (via Wearetheinternetz)
Asked why it's possible to spectate on an opponent when it might give one side who uses Skype an unfair advantage during an Uncharted 2 clan battle, ReklissAbandon wrote, "I think they wanted people to have fun and ejoy [sic] the show since all dead players can talk to each other no matter what team you are on."
"But I will suggest it anyway. Not to mention that the next PS3 firmware update is going to allow cross game chat. So if players use that instead of in-game communication then they would also be able to communicate enemies [sic] positions..."
Other users immediately noticed the unintended reveals, and the message was promptly deleted. But not before word got out on the Internet, as it always does. Oops.
Expect the next firmware update, and cross game voice chat, sometime before the end of the year.
well once this gets released i think alot of people will be askin "why am i paying 40 a yr?" as for online play alot of gamers dont see any difference in the online play!
so MS are gonna need to do something as what will there excuse be this time? as facebook or twitter aint one of them

will be a good feature to have but im not really going to use it much.
and what u said about why do we need to pay for LIVE then. people will then come out and say 'well LIVE has party chat, and thats a reason to pay' then when the PS3 games party chat people will say something else.

Of course people will, but then people used say they ddint need party chat on PS3. etc... so i think some people need to see things diff!
i know MS will not bring down the nore will they make it free... they ill make poor excuse's for it like "our service offers a premium service" "XBL is an better Experince"
the thing that bothers me the most i know lag is all ways gonne be there in some games/matchs etc... but i dont see why i should pay to have that crap happen to me as ive allready seen Uncharted 2 have bug/glitchs/lag. But i sit there an d think hey its free plus im sure naughty dog will do aomething about it!
yet you have GOW2, COD4, COD;WaW etc... and people are cheating left right and centre, they have modded pads, yes i know you can get them on the PS3 but again its free so its up to the dev to sort it out, but im paying MS for "a Premium service" "a better Experince" as they put it!
if it was free i wouldnt be bothered but not as much as i am now!
